Game Over
Thank you all for playing! The Dominion achieved more that two thirds of all colonized planets making them win. If you have any comments or suggestions on the game besides making it shorter please tell me.
Victory!
Dateline Axis:The Dominion has conquered the galaxy. With all of their enemies defeated the Dominion controls more than three quarters of the galaxy and is currently consolidating it's rule. Fred has fled into the darkness of space leaving the FDE worlds ripe for the taking. Nothing can stop the Dominion now. The is GNN News signing out.
United Kingdom Gone
Dateline Axis:Yesterday, the British Empire surrendered unconditionally to the Dominion. A government official said this to our reporter on Great Britain. "Her Majesty the Queen, the Prime Minister, and the entire government of the United Kingdom recognize the Dominion as the true and rightful rulers of the galaxy, and relinquish all claim to authority over any territories formerly under their control."
The people of Axis began partying in the streets as soon as they got the news and fireworks were seen far into the night. No official word has been received from the Dominion leaders on the unexpected surrender of the UK. The rest of the Galaxy probably shaking in fear tonight as the Dominion is poised to conquer all. This has been a GNN special report.

Mykonian Empire Gone
This is a live report from our offices on Axis, Billy Snipes reporting. It appears that the Mykonian Empire has been completely obliterated as the Assault Goons stormed Myko, there last stronghold. The attack came with the same speed and precision we have come to expect from the Dominion armies. We received this transmission from Myko just minutes before their Capitol was overrun. Be warned it is disturbing."We cannot get out. We cannot get out. They have taken the bridge and the second hall. We have barred the gates but cannot hold them for long. We cannot get out. They are coming."
The remaining Mykonian worlds have made peace with the Dominion and will be allowed to remain as protectorates of the Dominion. With this new victory rule of the galaxy is within reach of the Dominion. Billy Snipes signing out.

Showdown
Dateline Hyde:Yesterday a massive space battle took place above the Mykonian planet Hyde between the Axis Squadron and the Mykonian Grand Fleet. After the dust settled the Axis Squadron held their ground and the Mykonian Grand Fleet was seen limping off home. We go now to our reporter with the Axis Squadron Billy Snipes.
I am hear on the command ship Liberty and as you can see behind me the ships are still in pretty bad shape. Repair crews have been working through the night trying to get the fleet's vital systems restored. This battle, the largest in the history of the galaxy will be remembered for years to come. A short countdown of the day is as follows.
- 10:47 The Axis Squadron makes an all out attack on the far left flank of the Mykonians. After hours of fighting is barely repulsed. Both sides taking heavy casualties.
- 12:23 A massive attack on the right flank of the Mykonian line results in a hard won victory allowing the Axis Squadron to flank the mykonian line.
- 12:54 The Mykonians are routed when a large Dominion force strikes hard at their line just inside of the outer flank. It appears the Mykonians had pulled out their squadrons from that area to reinforce the far left of their line.
- 1:39 The squadrons just left of the Dominion far right are routed when the Mykonians attack with a massively superior force.
- 2:48 The center of the Axis Squadrons line holds against the onset of Mykonian forces.
- 4:19 The Mykonian Grand Fleet moves off toward an undisclosed location to repair.
Well there you have it. back to you, Sam.
Thanks Bill. This was a battle that will be remembered for ages. Our hearts go out to the thousands of brave pilots, crewmen and marines who gave their lives yesterday for their country. This is GNN signing out.
Rules Q&A No. 2
- Can science be traded like other resources? No, science cannot be traded.
- What happens when a Hellfire fights a Jotun? The Hellfire's special would be negated allowing the Jotun's bonus to be used.
- What happens if an army or fleet doesn't have enough battalions to fill all its columns? Then you would fill them in order (1,2,3,4,5) putting one battalion in each until you run out. your army then has as many columns as you were able to fill.
- May you remove improvements from a planet right before it is captured? You may, but it must be done before you conduct the battle on the planet. The instant all the armies on the planet are defeated the planet becomes under the control of the attacker.
